2025 NewsLetter

We have been very busy since the start of 2025 preparing for our annual show ‘Journey to Wonderland.’ This year we are performing at The Bettridge Centre, Newtonhill on Sunday 15th June. We have 2 performances, 11.30am and 3pm. Both shows are selling very well and only have around 50 tickets remaining.

For the first time we are putting on a themed show that will include dances, musical numbers and acting scenes. We really wanted to challenge our musical theatre students to build on their acting scenes. We held video auditions last term where students submitted videos of themselves singing a song and reciting a scene and from there Miss Heather and I decided on our cast of characters.

Costumes have started being delivered and children have really enjoyed trying them on in class to make sure they fit! We can’t wait to put them all together and see the whole thing in costume.

On a personal note we also are wishing our ballet teacher Miss Meg a huge congratulations on her wedding to Ollie! She was the most beautiful bride and was such a princess on her wedding day. Her dress was absolutely gorgeous and of course included a crown!!

We hope that everyone has had a lovely extended Easter break and enjoyed some time to rest before our busy show term!
