Modern Theatre

Modern theatre dance is known for its theatrical qualities.  The style uses travelling steps, high kicks, leaps and turns which all need strength and flexibility.  Modern incorporates both lyrical and jazz styles into the syllabus and is a fun energetic dance genre.

Children can enrol in Modern from the age of 5 years old at RC Performing Arts and progress through the graded examinations.  From Primary to Grade 6 children will develop musicality, confidence, poise, and grace by following the ISTD syllabus.

RC Performing Arts also offers vocational training from Intermediate Foundation to Advanced 2 for students who show potential and enthusiasm.
