Miss Becca
Principal of RC Performing Arts
ISTD Tap & Modern
Acrobatic Arts & Pre-school Acrobatic Arts certified
Trinity College London Musical Theatre
Miss Becca started dance lessons at the age of 2 years old in Ballet, Tap and later Highland, National & Majorettes at Stuarts School of Dancing. She then attended Academy Street Dance Studio and took classes in Modern Theatre and Jazz.
Upon leaving school Miss Becca completed her vocational training in Advance 2 Tap and Intermediate Modern alongside her diploma in Acting and Performance and Diploma in Musical Theatre. During her training Rebecca was given the opportunity to participate in many dance shows at Aberdeen Arts Centre, corporate performances at AECC and competitions at IFDPA Disneyland Paris.
In 2017 Miss Becca had completed the ISTD Diploma in Dance Instruction (DDI) in both Modern Theatre and Tap Dance. During this time Rebecca taught at many dance schools across the central belt of Scotland, entering students into exams and choreographing routines for competitions such as the Dance World Cup.
In May 2019 Miss Becca welcomed her daughter Grace into the world and in August returned to freelance teaching for a variety of dance schools in Aberdeen. She has since continued her training by certifying with Acrobatic Arts and completing the final units of her Diploma in Dance Education (DDE) with the ISTD. Miss Becca established RC Performing Arts in 2020 and since then the school has tripled in size. In September 2023 Miss Becca welcomed her second daughter Hallie and is now looking forward to returning to teaching for the 2024/25 season at RC Performing Arts.


Miss Meg
ISTD Ballet/Pre-school Acrobatics
Miss Meg has danced all of her life, starting with Ballet at age 2 and then expanded to lessons in tap, modern & jazz when she was older. At 16 Miss Meg gained entry & trained at the vocational college Ballet West, achieving her BA (Hons) in Dance. Since then she has danced abroad in Cyprus & Rhodes and was even Dance Captain for these performances. ​Since coming home to Aberdeen Miss Meg has been teaching freelance Ballet in Aberdeen/shire and is excited to complete her Diploma in Dance Education in Ballet with the ISTD.​Recently Miss Meg achieved her Pre-school Acrobatic Arts qualifications and has enjoyed teaching our Pre-school Acro classes this year. ​We are very excited to have Miss Meg continuing for the 2024/25 year with us and look forward to seeing the fabulous dances she creates for our next show.
Miss Heather
ISTD Tap & Modern, Acrobatic Arts, Highland & Musical Theatre
Miss Heather started dancing at the age of 2 locally in Stonehaven. She completed all of her ISTD Jazz and RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) Ballet grades & exams, right up until she left school. After leaving school Miss Heather was accepted straight into her 2nd year of a 3 year dance course at Dance For All Theatre College Edinburgh. Miss Heather has trained in numerous different genres including ballet, Spanish, modern theatre, contemporary, musical theatre, commercial and so many more! Miss Heather graduated from Dance For All with top marks and many awards, along side her ISTD DDE teaching qualifications. She then went on to coach dancing in Doha, Qatar for 6 months at the Sophie McDonald Dance Company and since returning home has been teaching freelance in Aberdeen/shire.


Miss Caleigh
Dance Assistant
Caleigh started dancing as a toddler studying Ballet and Tap. She has had many opportunities to perform at Aberdeen Arts Centre in dance and theatre shows such as ‘Music 4 U’. Caleigh has also had the opportunity to attend a Tap workshop by the fabulous Adam Garcia. ​ Miss Caleigh loves to assist at our dance shows, seasonal parties & classes when she can and we look forward to seeing her in classes more in the coming year. ​ The children at RC Performing arts absolutely adore Miss Caleigh. Her calming presence and experience in helping children with ASN means she plays an important role within the school.
Mr Niro
Dance Assistant
Mr Niro is currently studying Musical Theatre at the prestigious Dance School of Scotland in Glasgow and is away to enter into his 4th year of training. Niro found his love for performing with the Ragamuffins and AYMT (Aberdeen Youth Musical Theatre) in Aberdeen, performing in shows such as Cats, High school Musical & Annie. Before moving to Glasgow Niro trained at Academy Street Dance Studio (same as Miss Becca) and has continued learning the ISTD exam work at school. Niro studies ballet, jazz, drama & singing at school alongside his academic subjects through the week in Glasgow and returns home at the weekends where he assisted with us at RC Performing Arts for the past year. Mr Niro will be working hard this year to prepare for a move to London. We look forward to having him join us at events and shows throughout the year.
