Tap Dance
Tap dance is an exciting, theatrical art form often seen on stage in musicals. Dancers use their feet to make sounds, creating intricate rhythms and melodies.
Parent & Toddler
RC Performing Arts offers parent & toddler classes from 18months. This is a fun, movement-based class that develops children’s gross motor skills whilst gaining confidence and making new friends.
Modern Theatre
Modern theatre dance is known for its theatrical qualities. The style uses travelling steps, high kicks, leaps and turns which all need strength and flexibility. Modern incorporates both lyrical and jazz styles into the syllabus and is a fun energetic dance genre.
Ballet
At RC Performing Arts we provide ISTD Imperial Classical Ballet training. This beautiful genre is based on the teaching of the French School at the Paris Opéra. Imperial Classical Ballet focuses on developing technique and creating an understanding of musicality.
Acrobatic Arts
Acrobatic Arts, or Acro as it is referred to by dancers, is a combination of classic dance technique and acrobatic elements. Acro blends musicality and line and style with acrobatic movements in a dance context.
